✨ Go Beyond the 50-Minute Hour ✨
Healing doesn’t always fit into a standard therapy box. Trauma runs deep, and real progress often needs more space than a single 50-minute session can give.
That’s why we offer intensive EMDR therapy—longer sessions designed to help you:
✔️ Dive deeper into your healing journey
✔️ Reprocess more trauma in less time
✔️ Break through the stuck points holding you back
Insurance limits don’t define your healing. Our practice was built with flexibility and freedom in mind—so your sessions can be as unique as your journey.
❓ How long are intensive sessions?
Sessions start at 90 minutes and can be extended in 30-minute increments beyond that, depending on your needs.
❓ Do you accept insurance?
All intensive therapy sessions are self-pay only. Insurance will not reimburse for extended sessions, but this allows us greater flexibility to design therapy around you—not your insurance company’s limits.
❓ Can I do sessions online or only in person?
We offer both Telehealth and in-person sessions, so you can choose what works best for you.
❓ What if I have a busy schedule?
Intensives are designed with flexibility in mind. Many clients find that by scheduling fewer, longer sessions per month, they can balance therapy with the rest of their busy lives.
❓ Why choose intensive therapy instead of standard weekly sessions?
Intensives allow you to dive deeper, process more trauma, and make meaningful progress in fewer sessions—especially helpful if you’re ready for significant change or feeling stuck in traditional therapy.

❓ Why choose intensive therapy instead of standard weekly sessions?
Intensives allow you to dive deeper, process more trauma, and make meaningful progress in fewer sessions—especially helpful if you’re ready for significant change or feeling stuck in traditional therapy. However, group work isn't for everyone and you may opt for individual work.
❓ How much do I need to share during EMDR?
You are always in control. Share as much or as little as feels right for you. Your therapist will simply check in on your level of distress throughout the process to help guide the work. The beauty of EMDR is that you can heal without having to retell every detail—you maintain privacy while still receiving the full support and benefit of the therapy.
Healing through Long-Term Abuse
At Therapy Intensives LLC, Rachael Livasy, LPC, understands the lasting impact of abuse—both overt and covert—that can occur over years or even decades. Drawing on evidence-based practices, extensive training, and lived experience, she offers a unique approach to help you build resilience, find support, and connect with a community that understands.
Four Characteristics of High Conflict "Family Member":
We address the “worst parts” with EMDR so you can move forward and gain:
We use EMDR-IGTP-OTS (Integrative Group Treatment Protocol for Ongoing Traumatic Stress)—a proven method developed in 1998 in response to natural disaster trauma, and since used successfully with:
Unlike standard EMDR, this protocol addresses ongoing, cumulative trauma—the kind that doesn’t have a clear beginning or end, but keeps building with every new event.
When you’re living in a high-conflict family system, you’re navigating:
If you’ve ever wondered, “Am I the problem?” — the answer is no. You’re experiencing ongoing trauma in a high-conflict dynamic. And you deserve the support, safety, and tools to reclaim your strength.
