Exhaustion has become all too common—cycling between constant activity and moments of apathy or inability to continue. These highs and lows of stress can disconnect us from a meaningful life. Sometimes we get stuck in “doing” and aren’t present enough, while other times we collapse, feeling unable to act at all.
Chronic stress can manifest in many ways, including feeling easily overwhelmed, muscle tension, disrupted sleep, rumination, irritability, apathy, digestive issues, and other physical symptoms.
